OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

A=p(1+rt) p=12000 r=9% t=14 I will give a metal and fan you

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

12.000(1(0.09)(14) 12000(1.09(14) 12000(15.26) 183,120 I got the answer A=183,120 ... When I checked it on a website it said its 12000... Just want another opinion. Thank you

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

I dont see where I solved it wrong. But the math website gives a different answer.. Am I right or wrong?

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

12.000(1+(0.09)(14) missed the plus sign

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah, your problem was in step two of you figuring out this equation, 0.09*14 actually equals 1.26. when you simplify by changing this you get 12,000. Hope that helps!

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

You have to add the 1 to 0.09

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The problem is that you need to multiply 0.09 with 14 then add 1.

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Okay. That makes it 2.26.. 12000 (2.26) = 27,120

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

So confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, what website did you check on? Maybe it's inaccurate, because that's what you would get if you answered it by fixing your mistake.

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Mathway.com ... So 27,120 is correct?????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's what it seems to be yeah, I check on mathway sometimes. Did you perhaps type in the equation incorrectly or chose the wrong choice to find out the answer? Hang on, I'll check on Mathway and see what it says for me...

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Okay thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, you must've just input it wrong. I just checked and it says that answer is 27,120.

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Okay. Thank you so much!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No Problem! ^.^

OpenStudy (destinyyyy):

Next time I get stuck ill message you since no one else could help me
