How did demobilization following WWI impact racism in the United States? It increased racism because African Americans held jobs that returning white soldiers wanted. It increased racism because African Americans had refused to fight in the war. It decreased racism because African Americans were recognized for their contributions to the war effort. It decreased racism because African Americans and whites were no longer competing for the same jobs.

How did the Dawes Plan increase the stability of European nations? It offered incentives for the rebuilding of war-torn areas. It allowed for political leaders to resolve differences through mediation. It encouraged the sale of natural resources to neighboring nations. It provided the opportunity for quicker repayment of debts.

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawes_Plan this may help idk

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

Dawn Plan increased the stability of European Nations by "It offered incentives for the rebuilding of War-torn areas."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That explains the Dawes Plan but it doesn't say how it increased stability of european nations

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

oh sorry

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

look at the one i just said, Dawn Plan increased the stability of European Nations by "It offered incentives for the rebuilding of War-torn areas."

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which of these groups faced the most discrimination in the United States during World War I? Jewish Americans Native Americans German Americans Japanese Americans

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

hmm, i would say the jerrys but let me think for a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which weapon caused the fewest casualties in World War I? machine gun artillery airplane bayonet

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

mmm

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

i would say airplane but it my not be true

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

Of those four, the airplane. Airplanes were really only doing large amounts of attacking enemy troops on the ground in 1918, and they honestly weren't that good at it. Artillery killed the most - I believe two-thirds of all casualties in the war were caused by artillery. Surprisingly enough, the bayonet was still a useful weapon during the First World War - when enemy troops managed to get into a trench, their bayonets were effective weapons, and of course bayonets were the key to several attacks by both the French and Germans during the first weeks of the war (before the trench systems were set up and when fighting was still mobile).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah I was thinking that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What was the cause of the brief recession in the United States in 1918 and 1919? the flood of refugees from war-torn Europe a cut in income taxes a decrease in the labor pool the change from wartime to peacetime production

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

hmm

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

i think its A

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

There was a brief depression in the U.S. from 1918-1921. This was caused due to inflation that occurred from Europe's take over of production from the U.S.

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):

the end of wartime employment so D

OpenStudy (captainfluffy):
