start with y = x – 4 for each (x,y) pair of numbers, test if when you "put in" the x number, you "get out" the y number. For example , for the first pair in Choice A: (-3, -7) the first number, -3, is the "x value" in your equation, replace the "x" with -3, like this y = -3 - 4 now simplify to get y= -7 notice -7 matches the second number in (-3,-7). that means that pair "works" check the other two pairs. can you do that ?
