The following are required steps in the sliding filament theory of muscle contraction: Calcium ions bind to troponin. Tropomyosin moves. Calcium pumps of the sarcoplasmic reticulum open. Myosin heads bend to attach to actin filaments. What would be the correct order of the steps above? 1, 4, 3, 2 1, 2, 3, 4 3, 1, 2, 4 3, 2, 1, 4 i think the answer is c
@LiteLegacy
Why do you think this ?
just a guess . Im really confused with this question
ah okay let me explain , give me a minute it a bit to type
Myosin filaments carry projections, the myosin heads, which are enzymes that Calcium ions bind to troponin and thus cause or allow the tropomyosin to move so that the part of the actin surface where myosin heads need to bind is uncovered sarcoplasmic reticulum pumps calcium out of the muscle interior troponin .
so it has to be B
Yay :D!
Than you you are the best
are you going to be on tomorrow. Im going to need help again
