OpenStudy on FireFox is almost unbearable. It takes forever to load, and keeps freezing every 5 seconds. Is there a way you can fix this, please?
I just use firefox it's never slow I always do it never have I used any thing else
Don't use Firefox problem solved
...what do you suggest then? I can't use chrome because I had technical issues with that before switching to fire Fox.

@aripotta
you guys aren't very helpful...
i just tried on internet explorer, and it was not any better. what is the recommended browser to use openstudy? if it's chrome, i'm going to laugh, because chrome has given me such a headache these past few days. i've been relieved to be rid of it, and i quite like firefox and its customization. i just wish openstudy could do something about the freezing.
I don't know any other way
Maybe it's your account..did you try another one?
why would it be my account?
Some people have their accounts messed up. @pooja195
umm im on firefox and it is fine restart it or you may have a virus
i just installed firefox the other day, and i scanned my computer today, so i don't have a virus. i think it's just openstudy. it doesn't freeze for any other site.
Did you try another account though?
Maybe try the Firefox developer addition? I use that sometimes and its faster than the normal one. It used to be called Mozilla Aurora
@AriPotta try another account
@AriPotta Get a new computer
Firefox actually does crash openstudy for me, that's why I stopped using it. Believe it or not, chrome is the browser I use, and never had problems with it on OS.
Firefox is horrible. Let's just say it does some wacky things for no reason.
os is working on patching it
I use firefox and it works fine.
for me, anyway.
@AriPotta i am using firebox, and it works fine for me.... just clear your cookies.. .then restart your Firefox.... :) clear it from here.... http://prntscr.com/7aodqt then follow this... http://prntscr.com/7aod2c and you will love Firefox then :) cheers
Same issue here running the latest Firefox (Mercurial tree build at the time of typing this). Same issue for any other Gecko-based browser actually. I think it has something to do with the CSS (maybe too intensive on older computers?) or the JavaScript usage. Dual core processor, clocked at 1.50GHz here.
clearing the cookies actually helped for me. it's not crashing/freezing as much as it was, making it easier to tolerate. thank you for the advice @paki :)
