Astrochemist. How to become one?
start by enrolling in a school where it's offered
Then?
@aaronq Like I'm a Sophomore in High School.
then you go into a graduate program where it specializes on a specific aspect of astrochemistry
Do you like chemistry and astronomy?
Yeah. Like Yes My Chemistry is improving and I like both Chemistry and Astronomy, @aaronq
I mean, what you should do is look into schools that offer this. Also, look at job prospects because if you wanna work in that field after you're finished, you'll likely be working in academia.
A teacher?? Like not a expert/research like those at NASA?
I dont personally know, but i don't imagine is very probable to get a job at NASA. I mean, you probably need the highest marks in your class to be even considered.
you probably also need some groundbreaking research
I used NASA as an example Can't I be a researcher in general?
yeah, you could probably end up doing research in a university or elsewhere. you should probably know that your salary would be very small, research like this isn't funded
You mean a teachers pay is more than an expert/researcher in this firld?
i'd say on average, yes
think about it, why would people give you money to do research in this?
