SOME ONE PLZ HELP

OpenStudy (mathmate):

If you start with drawing the points on a graph, then you will see what kind of variation it is, and the question will be much easier to solve.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OK

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmate

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Do you have a graphing calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (mathmate):

A pencil and paper?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Good, use that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok but i still dont get it

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Plot your points, and the answer will come out like magic, believe me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmate

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Explain! Also, to avoid mis-communications, please post the value of the answer, not just the letter at the beginning.

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Did you make the plot?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it wrong

OpenStudy (mathmate):

I don't know until I see your plot, and explain to me how you got it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

really

OpenStudy (mathmate):

really!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i only have 2 mins left to take this test im died

OpenStudy (mathmate):

If you prefer guesses, then go ahead! Good luck! I am here to help you understand, not to give answers for your tests, sorry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ik

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this not what i wanted

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but im a 7th grader doing algebra its not easy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx for your help

OpenStudy (mathmate):

A 7th grader should be able to make plots on graph paper. If he/she does enough of them, it will be obvious what the graph looks like by just looking at the numbers. Math is practice and patience. It's never too late to start!

You're welcome! :)
