A lead fishing weight with a mass of 57 g absorbs 146 cal of heat. If its initial temperature is 45∘C, what is its final temperature?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So far I have:\[146cal = 57g * C *(T _{f}-45)\]\[146\cal = 610.864J\] so:\[610.864 = 57g * C * (T _{f}-45)\] but where do i go from here? how do i find C and or Tf?

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

It is given in the problem that we are dealing with a lead weight. So, we need to use the heat capacity for lead in consistent units.
