1. The endings. "el agua" That's masculine, even though "agua" ends with an "a" "el pajaro" That's masculine, as well. Look at the "el" and the ending of an "o" 2. You tell me this one. 3. How would you say "Hi" and "Goodbye" in Spanish? 4. "Ellos" and "Ellas" is used when there is more than one person. Basically, a group of people that does not include you. They are the plural form of "El" and "Ella."
