FAN AND MEDAL TO ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME Which statement best describes the graph of -x^3 - x^2 + 4x + 4? A. It starts down on the left and goes up on the right and intersects the x-axis at x = -2, 2, and 4. B. It starts down on the left and goes up on the right and intersects the x-axis at x = -2, -1, and 2. C. It starts up on the left and goes down on the right and intersects the x-axis at x = -2, -1, and 2. D. It starts up on the left and goes down on the right and intersects the x-axis at x = -2, 2, and 4. Can someone please work through this with me?? I don't get it..

Nnesha (nnesha):

did you graph it ?

I never thought of that thank you.

Nnesha (nnesha):

alright x-intercept where line cross x-axis when y =0 let n = degree so when *n* is odd and leading coefficient of the equation is positive then graph right side rise left side fall and when leading coefficient is negative then right side will fall left side will rise

oh okay that makes sense. Thank you for your help.

Nnesha (nnesha):

np :-)
