OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

Well, to solve that, find two numbers that multiply together to get 162. At least one has to be a perfect square (i.e 4, 9, 16... etc.)

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

After that, pull the square out from under the radical by taking its square root.

OpenStudy (bloomlocke367):

For example \(\sqrt{32}=\sqrt{16 \times 2}=4\sqrt2\)

Make sense? I have to leave now, bye! Good luck.
