There are infinite fields in mathematics, so we need to be more specific. Simply put, a field is a set of numbers that acts like the real numbers. There are some numbers that act like 0 and 1, for any number there is a negative, for any number dividing by that number gets you 1... You will be hard pressed to find worksheets on this sort of material. I would suggest an introduction to abstract algebra book.
