OpenStudy (leann01xxx):

Write using exponents. 5 • 5 • 5 • b • b • b • b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5b^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@aloud That is both wrong and a direct answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then how would you write it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Count the number of each value and assign that as the exponent. Since there are 3 5's it would be \[\large 5^{3}\] Since there are 4 b's, it would be \[\large b^{4}\] Since they are multipled, you would combine them to get \[\large 5^{3}b^{4}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not a problem, just make sure to show your work next time as mistakes are much easier to catch then :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And do you understand how I got it, @LeAnn01Xxx ?

OpenStudy (leann01xxx):

Yes I understand now. Thank you! @LegendarySadist @aloud
