option D. i think...

OpenStudy (rhystic):

no that's wrong. So you have an angle and the hypotenuse length you can use the trig equation sin(angle) = opposite/hypotenuse -> opposite = hypotenuse*sin(angle)

OpenStudy (rhystic):

sin(45) = .707 and the rest is just a plug and chug.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

oh no dear it is not that hard

OpenStudy (misty1212):

one angle is 45 degrees, so the other angle is also 45 degrees that means the triangle has two equal angles, so two equal sides

OpenStudy (misty1212):

the hypotenuse is \(5\sqrt 2\) so the other two sides are the hypotenuse divided by \(\sqrt2\) i.e. \[\frac{5\sqrt2}{\sqrt2}=5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Rhystic Excuse you , dont be rude like that. See look at you , you gave the girl the wrong answer... people these days...

OpenStudy (pawanyadav):

Option C is correct.
