1.Ray and Kelsey are working to graph a third-degree polynomial function that represents the first pattern in the coaster plan. Ray says the third-degree polynomial has 4 intercepts. Kelsey argues the function can have as many as 3 zeros only. Is there a way for the both of them to be correct? Explain your answer.

Making a new question doesn't make this any better. Do you care about learning or just want the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I care about learning, I just need help cause I don't understand.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cool, this is from what lesson?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like what was it about? Because asking help on an assignment is cheating, plain and simple. Asking for help with factoring or graphing is different.

So what's it about? Does it go over factoring or graphing some terms in there?

Look, go to your teacher's homepage and right under the banner is a "Course Resources" box thing. click on it and find the video for 8.07 and do some reading before coming back here.
