What is the missing step in the proof? A) Statement: ∠GAC and ∠GAB are supplementary. Reason: Linear Pair Theorem B) Statement: ∠AFE≅∠AFD Reason: Transitive Property of Equality C) Statement: ∠GAC≅∠BAF Reason: Vertical Angles Theorem D) Statement: ∠GAC and ∠AFD are supplementary. Reason: Linear Pair Theorem
@Baseballguy101
hm i know it's not c so far looking at the vertical angles theorem
Alright, I would have thought so too..
i can't say 100% but i would go with b
B? alright!
This one is pretty big.. I do not like this one.
Here's the choices for option one.
ok so we want to prove that those congruent angle are 90 we have by the transverse two parallel lines the angle GAC is congruent to EFG and by the supplementary angles on a line EFG+AFD=180 but AFD is congruent to GAC so we have EFG=90 therefore the line is perpendicular and also it must be perpendicular to both line since they are parallel
Infinity, Baseball kinda already helped me answer that one.. lol..
im not the best at proofs but to me the last choice is the one one that makes sense. xapproachesinfinity looks to know a lot more about it than me haha
Perhaps you two should work together on this? I don't have that much time left to work on this, sadly...
ok what are the second options?
Here you go.
Ugh, I have to leave soon, but I will return to doing this at home, but that doesn't mean I'll get the same questions.. :/
that one is linear pair
