Someone in the mathematics chat room of openstudy is constantly spamming the chat. When he gets banned, he simply makes a new account and continues the spam. Could you possibly IP ban him?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Chethus this isn't a math question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the question ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't message Satellite so I tagged him in this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm....thats a good thought....useless idiot...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Who was that aimed towards?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

he is probably like a cyber terrorist!!??LOL

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, maybe!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm...whats ur age buddy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

15, but I am stupid :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nothin like that...i am 17...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should really help me with a question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well hey, your smarter then me so its all good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nobody is stupid...except attar!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Linda is studying the sale of a particular brand of cereals from the year 1993 to 2004. She writes the following function to model the sale of the cereal S(t), in million dollars, after t years: S(t) = t2 + 5t + 52 Part A: What does the y-intercept of the graph of the function represent? (4 points) Part B: What is the reasonable domain of the graph of the function? (3 points) Part C: What is the average rate of change of the sale of the cereal from the first year to the fourth year? Show your work. (3 points) Can you help me with this? I asked this question in the chat but I couldn't read your and nincompoops replies because of the spam

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah....did u understand the queastion bro?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha, nope. I am but a stupid teen

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u have the interest to learn?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I usually I would, but I've been stuck on this question since 9 :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And since this is the second to last question on my test, I could care less if I know how to do this.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok...see the first question...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will tell u how to do this...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, sounds good.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do u mean by the y-intercept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just concentrate buddy...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand what your trying to ask

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Haha my brain is fried dude. I won't be able to think very well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean the whole y intercept represents the 0 on the x axis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am just trying to check wether u have visualized this question correctly...ok if u want some help...i shall attach a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright. Listen, I am very sorry to say this, and this is actually my first time ever saying this. But can you just give me the answers straight up? Like I said, I've been on this question for a long long time and I don't have the tolerance to learn how to do it anymore. This is the second to last question on my last assignment of the online class so learning this won't help me really that well at all. @chethus if you say you won't then I totally understand and will do it myself somehow.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok....here is your answer....the y-intercept shows the sales for the year 1993

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, thank you. What about for part B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes...will tell u that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, thanks. The ... is really making me feel bad you know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the reasonable domain to that function is the set of all positive values....because a measure of the number years cannot be negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, and part c?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes...will tell u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer for the last one is 10...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey ima, one more thing..the domain is actually t=0 to t=11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

r u here buddy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, I am. Sorry about that. Thank you so much for your time man

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I also gave you a fan. Again, thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there some option of inviting friends or something like that....or r u there on fb?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The fan option?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like sending a friend request....or something like that..?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, its a bit different on this site. If I fan you, you will be on this list of others that I fanned and I will get a notification when they get online. When you get fanned, you also get more smartscore.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So lets say you are offline right now, and decide to log on. I will get a notification saying "chethus is now online"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh...i get it...i fanned u rite?i did it now...and r u there on fb?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I didn't get a notification saying you fanned me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you see that icon on the top slightly to the left corner of the screen?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It might not have the number 4 on it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah..it doesnt

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how to fan people?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just click on the username of the person you want to fan. A window showing the user's stats will appear. You should then see a button that says "Become a fan". Click on it. The image below shows you how

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah...did it...i can see you online
