Which of the following is not a needed piece of information when performing a rotation? A. direction B. center C. angle D. orientation
D. Orientation
Oh! wait I forgot im not supposed to give u the answer >_< I meant to say its not A or B...
yeah that was against code of conduct but at least you have owned up to your mistake
so I'm not going to report.
as for the question... what seems to make sense and what term is the odd ball in these choices?
@UsukiDoll Thank you Merciful Princess Usuki! I am indebted to you /_\
hehehe ^_^ most people fight against me... I secretly report them for not only breaking coc but for being rude xD
its cool bruh. thanks for the answer tho lol
it's written in stone... "this is not a give me answers" site. I've read on OS feedback that OS is now frowned upon to use according to some schools
wow
@UsukiDoll I respect your rule and I would never question it /_^ *kneels* all hail princess Usuki! \(^_^)/
yup thanks to some bad owls on here...some teachers don't want students using OS...which is messed up.
direction is important as in rotating wheel centre is important in angular momentum
Wait i thought it was orentation
your question asked Which of the following is not a needed piece of information when performing a rotation?
center is very important
if you've read Calculus III, trigonometry and geometry books you will notice that one term is off.
i think my probablity will be angle
But angle is needed /_\ why would orientation matter?
im so confused
look at the question it says is not needed
wait a sec .. I need to know which quadrant I'm in... I need to know the degrees of a ... OH! >:D
@milnema For questions like this, you could try doing a rotation and see what's needed. What's left is what's not needed. If you don't know how to do a rotation, read up your textbook or notes, or the following links might help: http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/rotation.html http://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/ks2/maths/shape_space/transformation/read/2/
Exactly Orientation as ive stated before isn't needed xD please im right stop confusing her
GUYS
It is direction
shane why do you think direction isn't needed?
@shanemc1010 clockwise or anticlockwise?
because if it says 90 degrees you rotate it 90 degrees if it says 180 degrees you rotate it 180 degree it doesn't matter which way you rotate it
I think this is just a term only question ._.
wait a minute.. wow even I'm lost... I think I've heard ... T_T *slowly wakes away*
I've heard the last choice so many times last semester in Euclidean Geometry
Yeah its orientation my bad click the link http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/51e56e04e4b08833fb237cc2
Finally xD
but orientation is not a real rotation
it's imaginary
exactly you do not need it
NO, please no more questioning, please im begging u, I just want my medal >_<
yup there it is! This was a geometry question ...Euclidean Geometry was even worse...my professor drew so many rotations in various colors
then I heard "orientation" a bunch of times but couldn't remember a lot from that class
WOO Yes! I got my medal! I would just like to thank all of you who tried questioning my theory, and milnema for asking the question, and Usuki for being so awesome and Don for being Don lol
yeah! I remember now that was towards the end of the semester...even graphing imaginary numbers was present
I want a medal too x.x
yay :D
@UsukiDoll Now we both have medals xD woop!
I was looking at this question through the Calculus perspective.. hahah that's what happens when I take a bunch of math courses...terms overlap
i want 2 medals :0
i want a medal. after all, i asked the question
oh mah gad plz staph
now its my turn
yay
