Which pair of atoms has the highest electronegativity difference? Na-F Ca-F H-F C-F F-F

OpenStudy (photon336):

Na-F

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

Im assuming u meant Ca-F @Photon336

OpenStudy (photon336):

Wait he has written Na-F, Ca-F, H-F, C-F, F-F,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what the questions its saying

OpenStudy (photon336):

yeah I think it would be Na-F, if that's an option.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes thats a option

OpenStudy (photon336):

This is the way I did it. FYI electronegativity of Na = 0.93 and Ca = 1 F = 4.0 4.0-0.93 = 3.07 F-Na 4.0-1.00 = 3.00 F-Ca the highest difference in electronegativity will be between a metal and non metal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was right thoght

OpenStudy (sweetburger):

I didnt even see the Na-F after the question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was in the top but i got ir right anyway
