Can anyone provide a direct description of the reasoning of Zeno's paradox...will provide a fan and medal for anyone that can answer this exceedingly tricky question.
@Aureyliant @sugarplum15
I'm sorry but I can't help you because this goes towards philosophy and whatnot. I don't think @Abhisar can help either but maybe @nincompoop can help ?
Well what do you think though??
I already asked she said that you can only get as good as google results show and this question is required to know in my AP bio class.
Well do you know what the paradox is? @sugarplum15 or do you need me to give you a hint first ?
Let me get this straight..I already know the answer just a tricky question for my fellow classmates on open study.
And it is pertaining to biology just a much higher level than regular or honors biology....On a college level.
As I understand it, this guys paradox is that motion is nothing but an illusion so Achilles can never catch up to the tortoise because first he has to get halfway to the tortoise. And to get halfway to the tortoise, he first has to get halfway to the halfway point. And to get halfway to the halfway point, first he has to get halfway to halfway to the halfway point .. and so on..
Right Nice Work! :) There is a little more but you get a medal and fan anyway. :) @ExoticInspirit
Thanks :)
