How do I do this and what is the answer? Choose the point-slope form of the equation below that represents the line that passes through the points (-3, 2) and (2, 1). A) y + 3 = -5(x - 2) B) y - 2 = -5(x + 3) C) y + 3 = -1/5 (x - 2) D) y - 2 = -1/5 (x + 3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the slope of the line first. This is the equation \[m=\frac{ y_2-y_1 }{ x_2-x_1 }\] Plug in the points. Let (-3, 2) be \((x_1,y_1)\) and (2, 1) be \((x_2,y_2)\)

could you possibly do that for me. I don't really know how to do that. @peachpi

no, I'm not doing for you. I put the equation up. you can substitute the numbers. Show me what you're thinking and I'm point out if you're wrong
