In organisms other than plants, when and where is the most ATP produced? (a) in thylakoids, during photosynthesis (b) in nuclei, during cellular respiration (c) in chloroplasts, during photosynthesis (d) in mitochondria, during cellular respiration

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind...I found the answer. It's d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol remember mitochondria i like the powerhouse of the cell so this means it produces ATP or energy which energy used directly by the cell. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

May be D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is terrible! Even in plants, mitochondria generates the most ATP. Also, there are quite a few things that lack mitochondria, nuclei, chloroplasts, and thylakoids; they are called bacteria. Domains Eubacteria and Archaeae, the prokaryotes. So, pretty hard to answer a question about any non-plant organism when some of those organisms are not covered by any of the given options. The people that wrote the question need to rewrite this thing.
