do you mean real root ? or (real +complex) ?
if you take f' and find f'(x)=0 roots you will see f'=0 has two roots (real) and then find max, min over there you will see \[y_\min \approx270 \\y_\max \approx 560\] but degree of function is 13 at least f(x)=0 has 1 real root and it will be like I draw |dw:1436565081595:dw|
implicit : if you mean how many roots (real +complex) ? answer is 13 but 1 real , 12 complex
If it is asking how many zeros there are, just look at the highest power. The highest power is 13, so there will be 13 zeros.
