This is bothering me. Should the answer be y=-x+3 because the slope is going down down three and over to the left three meaning it'll be -3/3=-1 aka -x? Here is the graph: http://i.imgur.com/EvrzW1I.png

negative slopes look like this |dw:1436593957282:dw|
I thought I had to go up three because of the y-int and then come down from there
that +3 is where you start on the y axis you go up 1, to the right 1 to jump to the next point the slope is actually +1 and not -1
Hmm alright. Well thank you very much! Have a good night!
slope = rise/run = 1/1 = 1 |dw:1436594102303:dw|
no problem
Hold on
So I don't have to start at that +3?
I start at the -3 on the X axis?
you start at (0,3) which is +3 on the y axis (the vertical axis)

and the do I go down one down and one over from there?
always move from left to right we move 1 unit up (rise) and 1 unit to the right (run) which is why slope = rise/run = 1/1 = 1
OOOOOOOH
I have to go up not down - I feel dub now xD
well you only go down if the slope happened to be negative
Thank you! This time for real (:
you're welcome
