plzzz help.....I'll be ur fan........anyone?!! The functions f(x) and g(x) are shown below: f(x) = 2^x g(x) = 2x Which statement best describes the graph of f(x) and g(x)? a. The graph of f(x) will eventually exceed the graph of g(x). b. The graph of g(x) will eventually exceed the graph of f(x). c. The graphs will both have their y-intercept equal to 1. d. The graphs will both have their y-intercept equal to 2.
@Kash_TheSmartGuy
@princeharryyy
none of them are true.
r u sure...or r u guessing?.....
they are the same thing, so one will never exceed the other, and they both have y intercept 0
that does not make them right :)
oh wait it was \[f(x)=2^{x}\]
and \[g(x)=2x\]
2^x wil grow faster
what does that tell you?
that it will exceed g(x)?
correct
ohk thanks.... :*
it is a weird question, they both exceed the other at some point, but eventually 2^x is always bigger....
can u help me with one more plz?
sure
A company did a quality check on all the packs of trail mixes it manufactured. Each pack of trail mixes is targeted to weigh 9.25 oz. A pack must weigh within 0.23 oz of the target weight to be accepted. What is the range of rejected masses, x, for the manufactured trail mixes? a. x < 9.02 or x > 9.48 because |x − 0.23| + 9.25 > 0 b. x < 9.25 or x > 9.48 because |x − 9.25| > 0.23 c. x < 9.25 or x > 9.48 because |x − 0.23| + 9.25 > 0 d. x < 9.02 or x > 9.48 because |x − 9.25| > 0.23
so x must lie between 9.25-0.23 and 9.25+0.23
wait... is it : x < 9.02 or x > 9.48 because |x – 0.23| + 9.25 > 0 ?
we want it in-between those numbers
so is it correct?.......
nope
if we want x to be between 2 and 5 then x>2 and x<5 so what if we want x to be between those two numbers?
x < 9.25 or x > 9.48 because |x − 0.23| + 9.25 > 0??
oh sorry you are right, I did not read the word regected
so this one or the first one????
the first one
ohk...thx
