PLEASE HELP FOR STUDY GUIDE! What is the equation, in standard form, of a parabola that models the values in the table? x: -2, 0, 4 f(x): -7, 3, -73 A. y = -3x2 - 4x + 3 B. y = -4x2 - 3x + 3 C. y = -3x2 - 3x + 4 D. y = 4x2 + 3x - 3 < NOT CORRECT

anyone? :(

Just take the values from x and plug them into the equation. For instance Lets look at A If we put -2 in for x it should give us y= -7. Lets see \( \huge y = -3(-2)^2 - 4(-2) + 3 = -1 \) so y = -1 so this is not correct or our answer. Do the same thing for B \( \huge y = -4(-2)^2 - 3-(-2) + 3 = -14 \) So we know B is not the right answer because when x = -2 i the f(x) = -7 but B says it = -14. Now that you know that A and B is not the right answer, what one do you think is correct?
