Plzz help easy medal if your good at science :P ha What is the difference between a neutralization reaction and a double–displacement reaction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. Double displacement reactions are always redox reactions. B. Double displacement reactions always involve acids and bases. C. Neutralization reactions always produce water and a salt. D. Neutralization reactions are always combustion reactions.

OpenStudy (rushwr):

I think it is C Because neutralization reactions are always acid base reactions. So you get a proton and a hydroxide with a halide and a metal . that rounds up for a salt and an acid
