What are the measures of Angles a, b, and c? Show your work and explain your answers. Two straight lines intersect at a point to form angle a. The measure of the angle opposite to angle a is 30 degrees. Angle a is the angle of a right triangle having another angle equal to b. A triangle with one angle labeled c is on the left of the figure. The angle adjacent to c is labeled 75 degrees.

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

i have to do FLVS, sorry. maybe real quick

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its from FLVS and i failed the past 2 tests on this question

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

which grade r u doing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7th grade

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

algebra?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mathematics

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Exam 5.12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Module 5 test part 2

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

oh bc im doing 7th grade algebra. Actually, now that i think about it, this was my ? too. i just started probability. ok. hold on so i can solve

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@pooja195

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

is there a pic?

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

@Tashiya_Pandas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u got it?

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

yep thx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmk so how do u get it and wyhats the answers'

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

hang on.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the ?

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

ok. so i got a 100% on this test. i copied and pasted it. let me know if u dont understand.

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

What are the measures of Angles a, b, and c? Show your work and explain your answers. Two straight lines intersect at a point to form angle a. The measure of the angle opposite to angle a is 40 degrees. Angle a is the angle of a right triangle having another angle equal to b. A triangle with one angle labeled c is on the left of the figure. The angle adjacent to c is labeled 65 degrees. Essay Submission Angle A: 45 degrees Angle B: 45 degrees Angle C: 115 degrees I found angle A and B because I know that in order for a triangle to be a triangle, all the angles need to add up to a total of 180 degrees. I know it is a right triangle, and one angle is 90 degrees. I also know that angle A and angle B are equal. So, the first thing i would do is 180 - 90, which equals 90. Then, since angles A and B are equal, I would divide 90 by 2 because there are two angles and 90 is what is left over after subtracting 90 from 180. So, angles A and B are 45 degrees. I found angle C because I know it is a supplementary angle and one of the two angles is 65 degrees. Since supplementary angles are two angles with a sum of 180 degrees, you would subtract 65 degrees from 180 degrees, 180 - 65. This equals 115, so angle C is 115 degrees. Points earned on this question: 10

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

@Tashiya_Pandas ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a and b are 45 because it says there is a right angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you do 180-90=90

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then u have 90 left and u divide that by 2 so that gives u 45 for a and b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and angle C you would find by doing (180-75) and that would give u C because those angles are complemtery angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what abput C?

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

did u c my answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmk so the answer is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

105

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

that is what i put in the test and i got a 100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmk what u put

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes it is

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya, that angle was 65

OpenStudy (anonymous):

er question the angle is 75

OpenStudy (anonymous):

trust me i already passed 7th grade algebra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because her angle is 75 and ur was 65

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

oh ok

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

who is ur teacher @Tashiya_Pandas

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yall take flvs?

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im doing geometry though

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

i do real school and online school

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

what grade

OpenStudy (anonymous):

going into 10th

OpenStudy (muscrat123):

im 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool

My teacher is Mrs. Bussendorf in Math

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my is Mr.Carrion

OpenStudy (anonymous):
