Can someone please help with this :/ im not really sure how to explain they are congruent.... http://prntscr.com/7un3e5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You know what congruent means right?

pooja195 (pooja195):

Ye like they are the same right? or equal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes Equal. I'm trying to think of a way to explain how you know that they are lol

pooja195 (pooja195):

Ye i cant figure it out either ;-;

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it short answer or extended response?

pooja195 (pooja195):

Short answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't want to give a half-booty answer you know? lol

pooja195 (pooja195):

ye .-.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

well, what does it mean to be supplemental angles?

pooja195 (pooja195):

angels that add up to 180

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and is there some rule ... transitivity maybe? if a=b, and b=c, then a=c

OpenStudy (amistre64):

then proof your setup ...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if angle x and y are supplements then: x+y = 180 if angles y and z are supplements then: y+z = 180 y = 180-x, and y=180-z therefore 180-x = 180-z, etc ..

pooja195 (pooja195):

ohh ok thanks i get it now ^_^

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yep
