Can anyone please explain how Of Mice and Men diction and characterization indicates the author’s point of view about a human rights issue?? I'm so lost

In the book, the author used words that were not proper English such as ain't and other examples I'm sure you can think of. John Steinbeck made his characters low class people looking for work who don't have a lot of education. By using this perspective, he was able to show the readers that people like George and Lennie who, I remind you are low class, still deserve proper medical care, related to human rights issues. And examples from the novel are easy to find. Just look for things that show their low class and how Lennie is mentally disabled.
