Please help :) The attached graph expresses a radical function that can be written in the form f(x)=a(x+k)^(1/n)+c. What does the graph tell you about the value of c in this function? A. It is not possible to tell whether c is greater than or less than zero. B. C is greater than zero. C. C is less than zero. D. C equals zero.

OpenStudy (cbarredo1):

look at the following graphs for different values of c just imagine that (x+k−−−−√)1/n will never be less than zero so the graph shape will depend on the value of C (i mean by shape whether it will be above below y axis or to right left of x axis ) so if =c=0 it means symmetric about x-axis (the given graph is not) if c is less than zero it means y will be negative so the graph must be below x axis (-negative y values) if c=positive then the graph must be above x axis . c less than zero

lol did you really just copy and paste that?

OpenStudy (cbarredo1):

Nah, it's really easy. This question has been asked a thousand times

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright lol thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it was wrong. its actually c is greater than zero.
