can someone explain kirchoffs laws to me? I know the correct definition just need a more "down to earth" explanation so to speak.
Kirchhoff's voltage law: The voltages changes around a closed path must sum to zero. For every load in the path, there is a voltage drop. For every power supply, battery, etc. there is a voltage rise. The total amount of voltage drops must equal the total amount of voltage rises. Kirchhoff's current law: At every node (junction) in a circuit, the total amount of current flowing into the junction must equal the total amount of current leaving the junction.|dw:1437943158702:dw|\[I _{1} + I _{2} = I _{3} + I _{4}\]
Need to draw a circuit to show u kirchhoff's voltage law
For KCL, the sum of total current going into the junction must equal sum of total current coming out of the junction (what comes goes must come out). For KVL, sum of total voltage of a closed circuit is equal to 0.
