For two functions, f(x) and g(x), a statement is made that f(x) = g(x) at x = 5. What is definitely true about x = 5? Both f(x) and g(x) cross the x-axis at 5. Both f(x) and g(x) cross the y-axis at 5. Both f(x) and g(x) have a maximum or minimum value at x = 5. Both f(x) and g(x) have the same output value at x = 5.

What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know i want to say A

OpenStudy (mertsj):

If the function values are the same, that is the same as saying that the y values are equal which is the same as saying the function output values are the same.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, the only thing that can be definitely true about x = 5 is that Both f(x) and g(x) have the same output value at x = 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

f(x) = g(x) so when x = 5 they both will have the same output so the answer is D
