Well the Vector is the Red line located in the middle/ Located in between North and East So If we are traveling in the between North and East we are going North East.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Isn't it 45 degrees west of north?
OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):
agreed with @aric200
OpenStudy (aric200):
West is <- Way how could it involve west?

I don't know anymore...
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So you say that it's north east?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
That can't be right.
OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):
tan theta=y/x
OpenStudy (arindameducationusc):
This also gives direction if more things are given

That is East of north. The line is in the quadrant that is defined by North and East, therefore those are the two relevant direction. They give the angle as 45 degrees from north, therefore it is 45 degrees East of North.

Okay, now that makes sense, thank yuo.
OpenStudy (aric200):
By the way West of North would be if the Vector was On the other side. But close.
