Help please explain the answer

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

So there are two shirts the probability of picking the white shirt is 1/2

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

I know but can you show like some mind of work or somthing lol please

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

The probability of him picking the tan pants instead of the blue pants is also 1/2 since there are two pairs of pants

OpenStudy (taramgrant0543664):

So to determine the probability of him choosing the white shirt and tan pants all you have to do is multiply the two probabilities together so 1/2*1/2

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

When i multiply that its goin to be my final answer?

OpenStudy (nuccioreggie):

1/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

correct
