now here comes the mistake you have to divide both sides by \(-p\) to solve for \(n\)

so it might be \[n\geq -\frac{7c-25}{p}\] or \[n\leq -\frac{7c-25}{p}\] they want you to choose the second one because if you divide by a negative number you have to change the inequality BUT

you do not know whether \(-p\) is positive or negative they want you to think it is negative because of the minus sign, but there is no way of knowing whether \(-p\) is a positive number or a negative number it is a serious error

the poor misguided folks at FLVS make this mistake all the time, because apparently they do not understand variables for example, if \(p=5\) then \(-5=-5\) and is negative BUT if \(p=-5\) then \(-p=+5\) and it is positive

long and the short of it is, you cannot solve an inequality with variable coefficients sorry about the state of education in your area
