PLEASE EXPLAIN I need someone to explain this to me. My teacher asked this in class and I didn't understand. Please help! A patient with burns complains of numbness and difficulty staying warm. Based on this information, diagnose which layers of skin were damaged and the degree of burns explain?

"Third-degree burn. This burn reaches into the fat layer beneath the skin. Burned areas may be charred black or white. The skin may look waxy or leathery. Third-degree burns can destroy nerves, causing numbness.
