Which one do you think it would be?
Here are the definitions for each one: Personification is when you assign the qualities of a person to something that isn't human or, in some cases, to something that isn't even alive... Metaphor is a figure of speech that describes a subject by asserting that it is, on some point of comparison, the same as another otherwise unrelated object. In simpler terms, a metaphor compares two objects/things without using the words "like" or "as",.. Simile is a rhetorical figure expressing comparison or likeness that directly compares two objects through some connective word such as like, as, so, than, or a verb such as resembles. Hyperbole is the use of exaggeration as a rhetorical device or figure of speech. It may be used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.
A metaphor compares things and there is no comparison so we can cross that one off
Simile is also comparing things so we can cross that one off as well
We also know that it is not personification because they aren't giving it human like qualities so it's a hyperbole we know this because do you really think it could be heard for miles? They are exaggerating the sound it makes
@taramgrant0543664 I got da answer already thx
