Which option best reflects one of the main themes of Christopher Marlowe's The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus? the danger of sinning and not showing repentance the danger of dabbling with magic and witchcraft the danger of signing a deal with the devil the danger of compromising principles for temporary glory
@LunyMoony Can you help me? ):
I believe A Why; Not 2 because not many would say magic and witchcraft is wrong (think Harry Potter), not 3 because signing a deal with the devil is more of a figure of speach (even if it happens to be true lots of the time when we hear it), and not D because the fella gave up his life basicly for glory, not necessarily temporarily. It is A because the lesson we learn from the play is that when we sin we often cover it even to ourselves, and if one has sin and doesn't repent, his or her life is damned to the end, and yet we continue to pretend.
Thank you (:
