I do not need the answer, I just need help understanding the question!! Now that the curve pieces are determined, use those pieces as sections of a complete coaster. By hand or by using a drawing program, sketch a design of Ray and Kelsey's coaster that includes the shape of the g(x) and f(x) functions that you chose in the Parts A and B. You do not have to include the coordinate plane. You may arrange the functions in any order you choose, but label each section of the graph with the corresponding function for your instructor to view.

well I think you need to include g(x) and f(x) so that people can help to explain it.

sure thing. my g(x)= x^3-x^2-4x+4 my f(x)= 6x^2+3x+2

ok... so my suggestion is to graph the 2 curves so you know what they look like then look for the best bits that can form a rollercoaster and use restricted domains so if you use f(x) you may choose to only use the part from x = -1 to x = 0 then add a part of g(x) from say x = -3 to x =-1 so the graph may look like
