I need someone to be my teacher. Im studying but i need extra help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

With what specifically? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Unit Rates Characteristics of a Proportion Proportionality and Equations Applications of Ratios Applications of Percents

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I could help, at least for a little while. Is there a specific area you need more help in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would just really help me if you gave me examples and then let me try them by my self. Dose that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can we start with unit rates first? This is what i know and my notes. Lesson Objective Now that you have completed this lesson, you should be able to say: I can compute unit rates with ratios of fractions. Vocabulary Unit Rate: A ratio with a denominator of 1; the word unit means 1; the word "per" means for one unit; examples: miles per gallon, days per year. Complex fraction: A fraction that contains a fraction in the numerator, the denominator, or in both. Lesson Summary To determine a unit rate, the denominator of the fraction must equal 1. Example: 17 miles 1 gallon = 17 miles per 1 gallon = 17 miles per gallon If the denominator of the fraction is not equal to 1, compute the unit rate by dividing. Example: 120 hours 2.5 weeks = 120 hours ÷ 2.5 weeks = 48 hours per week Unit rates should fit the context of the problem and make sense. Example: Five apples cost $1.75. $0.35 per apple or approximately 2.86 apples per dollar.

You don't need a teacher. You just need a platform that will "drill" you on these concepts. Try ixl.com
