Waste managers need more land to collect city garbage. What environmental parameters should city officials investigate before purchasing the needed land? A. Depth of groundwater and distance to local lakes, rivers, and farms B. Land prices and the potential damage to the housing market in the area C. While all of the choices would be considered, 3 are human issues only 1 of them directly affects the environment. Can you think of which one that might be?
Since "Ground water is super important. Under ground aquifers are a common source of drinking water for local communities and farm wells. Contamination from a landfill would be devistating to the community from increased illnesses, cancers, poor crop production, it could have all sorts of environmental impacts." .......... the best option that fits would be A)
How did you get A?
I gave you the explanation above ^^
A is the only choice directly linked to the environment. If a waste dump were located near water or farm land, it could contaminate it.
