Write two (2) scenarios that describe two different real-world functions. Think of your own variables that are not included in the above list. As you did for the other functions, identify the independent and dependent variables and assign the letters x and y to represent each variable quantity. Then create a set of at least five ordered pairs in (x, y) form with values that make sense for your function.

welll... I don't have this "above list" :P but assuming you mean a linear equation... I have already read 34 pages of this book, every day I read 12 more pages. do you know how to make ^ that into an equation? :3

Let x = the number of gallons Let y = the amount of money The set of ordered pairs {1,$2.50), 2,$5.00), (3,$7.50) (5,$12.50), (10,$25.00), (3$7.50) To represent thee function assuming a gallon of gas $2.50 i did this put i need to create 2 of theses and i cant! :(

I suppose you can just change a few small things :P like... x = number of books y = amount of money the set of ordered pairs (1, 3), (2,6) , (3, 9) to represent the function assuming each book costs $3

okay thanks tht good um is this going good?? Lily went to her swimming class and it took her 3 minutes to do one lap. x represents the number of laps and the y represents the number of minutes it took to complete the lap. {(1, 3), (2,6), (3,9), (4,12), (5,15)
