OpenStudy (misty1212):

HI!!

OpenStudy (misty1212):

\[\frac{10^{21}}{10^3}=10^{21-3}\] is a good start

OpenStudy (misty1212):

what do you get?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10^18

OpenStudy (misty1212):

yeah we are not done yet though

OpenStudy (misty1212):

what is \[2\div8\] as a decimal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0.25

OpenStudy (misty1212):

ok so one answer (not the right one) is \[0.25\times 10^{18}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (misty1212):

it is right in that they are equal, but it is not in scientific notation to put it in scientific notation, you cannot have \(0.25\) in front, because that is less than 1 you need to change it to \[2.5\times 10^{17}\] to be in scientific notation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok tysm could u help me with a few more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait nvm 1 more
