How can I translate two different graphs?

ok so it looks like both your directions are reversed. Maybe you were going the opposite direction.

The -1 with the x means it was translated 1 unit right
+4 means translated 4 units up

you're welcome. I think when you graphed it you might have started at
\[y=2(3)^{x-1}+4\]
instead of the other one
