Simplify the expression if possible 4^3· 4^5 and write your answer as a power (using exponents). so i got to 65,536 by multiplying 4^3 x 4^5 but past that point i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do.

@ganeshie8 Do you know how to do this?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

\(\large \color{red}{4}^3*\color{red}{4}^5\)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

since the bases are same, you can simply add the exponents : \(\large \color{red}{4}^{3+5} \)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

that equals \(\large \color{red}{4}^8\)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

leave it like that since they want the answer as a power

Ohh okay thank you so helpful!
