please help and explain to me ASAP!! Eric measured the height of a window frame as 5.43 feet, but the actual height was 6 feet. What is the percentage of error in Eric's measurement?

This is how you calculate the percent error in a measurement: \(percent~error = \dfrac{|measured~size - actual~size|}{acutal~size} \times 100\)

First, find the difference between the measurement and the actual size. Then take the absolute value of the difference. That means ignore the negative sign if there is one. Then divide by the actual size and multiply by 100.
