I need someone to check my answers!

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, thats right

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

No, it's not correct.

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

oh

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

You need to be careful with the first answer. What exactly does the graph show you about elementary education?

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

it shows its 30%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see, haha whoops

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The second question is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, but you need the number not percentage

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would it be "not enough information to tell"?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Exactly. The graph shows you percentage. The first question asks the number, not the percentage. Since you don't know the numbers of students in each category, or the total number of students, you don't have enough information to answer the first question.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you for checking up.

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

but I dont know the numbers

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

ok i see

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

That's why the answer to the first question is "not enough info..." The second question is simply which major has the fewest number of students. The smallest percentage will have the smallest number of students, no matter how many students there are (other than 0 or a similar number).

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Great.

OpenStudy (howard-wolowitz):

thanks guys
