Can someone explain how to find a slope of a line?

Slope of a line tells us how much the line goes up or down. At least that's one way to look at it. If the slope is positive then line goes up, if slope is negative the line goes down, and if the slope is zero the line is parallel to the x-axis. For the slope there's that formula \[slope=\frac{ \Delta y }{ \Delta x }=\frac{ y _{2} -y _{1} }{ x _{2} - x _{1}}\]

which tells us to take any two points on the graph T1(x1,y1) and T2(x2,y2) and from them we can get the slope.
