Try and factoring the numerator

OpenStudy (madhu.mukherjee.946):

see you got to middle term breaking the numerator

OpenStudy (madhu.mukherjee.946):

x^2+4x-5 x^+5x-x-5 x(x+5)-1(x+5) (x-1)(x+5)

OpenStudy (madhu.mukherjee.946):

then it becomes(x-1)(x-5)/1-x

Please allow the poster to do some work @madhu.mukherjee.946

OpenStudy (madhu.mukherjee.946):

so now take -1 common -1(1-x)(x+5)/1-x both the 1-x terms cancel so it becomes -x-5=0 sox=-5

I dont understand anything so far, also I have to go offline. Sorry see ya guys

OpenStudy (madhu.mukherjee.946):

OpenStudy (madhu.mukherjee.946):
